I was asked to design a custom Go Fish deck, and after exploring a few different illustrative styles, I chose to explore a hand-drawn, underwater theme. Each of the 13 cards features a unique aquatic creature, illustrated with flowing lines and bold textures inspired by the visual language of ukiyo-e woodblock prints. The goal was to bring a playful, artful take to a classic game and blend tradition with a fresh, illustrative twist.
